Our mission - to have you walking out the door looking incredible and feeling even better.
We’re all about good vibes, expert technique, and doing everything with purpose. Because how you feel matters just as much as how you look.

Sien Hair is a Sensory Safe Salon, where we deeply consider how a space feels - not just how it looks. We know salons can be overstimulating, so we offer quiet appointments, gentle lighting, and a low-key atmosphere whenever needed. If you (or your child) are someone who finds busy spaces overwhelming, or you just need a softer landing, we’re ready to meet you with calm energy and a cup of tea.

We’re proudly part of the Sustainable Salons movement, which means we don’t do bins. Every foil, every hair clipping, every colour tube is recycled, repurposed or reused. We’re obsessed with reducing waste, and we love that our clients get to be part of that story.

And while we’re serious about our craft, we don’t take ourselves too seriously. You’ll find laughter here, real conversation, and stylists who genuinely care. We believe in ongoing learning, evolving with our clients and culture, and creating experiences that feel effortless, cool, and completely you.

Hi, I’m Kelly—founder of SIEN Hair, proud mum of two, lifelong hair creative, and MX dirt bike rider on weekends (yep, still cool in my 40s!). I started SIEN over 20 years ago and recently rebirthed it into a Sensory-Safe Salon in Melbourne’s north. As an ADHD business owner with two neurospicy kids, creating a calm, inclusive space isn’t just my passion—it’s personal. I’m here for great hair, real chats, and music that moves your soul (hello, 60s Motown).
